President: Lauren Gibbons — MLive

Lauren is the Political reporter for the Statewide Impact Team covering the 2016 election and other Capitol happenings from Lansing. She previously reported for MIRS News, The Columbus Dispatch, The Grand Rapids Press and others. She’s a longtime Lansing resident and Michigan State University graduate with passions for travel, history and Irish step dancing.

Vice President: Emily Lawler — MLive

Emily Lawler is the lead reporter for MLive’s Public Interest Team covering Michigan politics and policy. She joined MLive in 2014, and before that reported on the Michigan Senate and Gov. Rick Snyder administration for insider political newsletter MIRS News. She is a regular guest on Off The Record, a reporter-driven weekly television show about Michigan politics. A graduate of Michigan State University, she lives in Michigan’s capital city and enjoys touring the Midwest by bicycle.
